Joseph A. Gitlin, CPA … Joe graduated from Boston University, Magna Cum laude in 1946. He was one of the original partners of Robert D. Miller & Co. (now GC) in the early 1950’s. Joe belongs to both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford. He has served for many years as a member of the Federal Tax Committee and has also served as a member of the State Tax Committee and has conducted a number of seminars for the Connecticut Society of CPA’s. Joseph A. Campise, CPA … Joe is GC’s managing member. He graduated from Fairfield University in 1964. He joined Robert D. Miller & Co. (now GC), in 1964 and was admitted as a partner in 1970. Joe belongs to both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served as director and treasurer of Nathan Hale Red Cross, as president of Rockville Rotary Club and president and a member of the board of the CPASoftware User Group. Morton I. Blum, CPA … Mort graduated from the University of Hartford, Hartford, CT, in 1961. He began his career in 1961 as an internal auditor with the Hartford Insurance Group and joined Robert D. Miller & Co. (now GC) in 1963. Mort became a member in 1984. He belongs to both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Salvatore Giuliano, CPA … Sal is a 1985 graduate of the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT, and has pursued graduate studies in taxation at the University of Hartford, Hartford, CT. He came to GC in 1985 and was admitted as a member in 1995. He belongs to both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, in which he has been an active member and serves on several committees. He has recently chaired the Public Relations committee and has served on the Accounting and Auditing Technical committees for the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Curt E. Campise, CPA … Curt is a 1989 graduate of Bryant College, Smithfield, RI, and has pursued graduate studies in taxation at the University of Hartford, Hartford, CT. He has been with GC since 1989 and was admitted as a member in 2000. He belongs to both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the AICPA Tax Division. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Indian Valley YMCA, a corparator of ECHN, a member of the ECHN Planned Giving Committee and a member of the Board of Governors of Ellington Ridge County Club. Charles L. Lemkin, CPA … Chuck is a 1973 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA. He received a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Hartford, Hartford, CT, in 1992. Chuck was employed by Fulco, Gitlin Halpern & Campise (now GC) in 1973, and subsequently held positions with Halpern, Smith & Co., Siskin, Shaprio & Co., Coopers & Lybrand and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He came to GC in 1999 and was admitted as a member in 2000. Chuck belongs to both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Louis D. Vamvakas, CPA … Lou is a 1996 graduate of Franklin Pierce University, Rindge, NH. He joined the firm in 2002 and was admitted as a member in 2009. He is responsible for providing a diverse range of tax and accounting services for the firm’s clients including preparation of financial statements, individual, corporate and partnership tax returns, as well as software implementation and training. Lou belongs to both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Henry A. O’Neal, CPA … Henry is a 1965 graduate of University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT. He started his career in 1965 at a national CPA firm and in 1972 was one of the original partners of a local CPA firm. He subsequently held the position of controller at a private closely-held company for eight years and in 1996 became a sole practitioner as Henry A. O’Neal, CPA, in Tolland, CT. Henry belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the AICPA Tax Section.
